What does a mobile diagnostic cover?+
We read every available ECU in the vehicle — engine, gearbox, ABS, airbag, body control, infotainment, immobiliser — using dealer-level Autel and OTOFIX kit. You get a full fault-code report, live data, freeze-frame analysis and a written quote for the repair. The diagnostic is the same scan a main-dealer performs, on your driveway.
How much does mobile diagnostics cost?+
From £80 for a complete multi-system scan including report and quote. If you proceed with the repair on the same visit, the diagnostic fee is usually credited against the work. Fixed price confirmed before we attend.
Can you clear warning lights?+
Yes — once the underlying fault is identified and repaired. We don't clear warning lights without diagnosing and fixing the root cause, because the light will return and may mask a more serious issue.
Do you do MOT-failure diagnostics?+
Yes. EOBD readiness checks, emissions diagnostics, ABS/airbag light diagnostics — all the common MOT-failure causes diagnosed and quoted on the same visit so you can rebook your retest with confidence.
